Our aim up until half term in February is to raise enough money for blackout blinds for the classrooms, new books for all key stages within the school and new playground markings for the junior playground. The first of our fundraisers is also in keeping with the school's anniversary celebrations. School calendars will be available very soon priced at £6 per calendar or 2 for £10. An order form will be sent home and a sample will be available to see in school.
Thank you to everyone who has already put their name forward, if you haven't it's not too late! The choir, along with the school choir and instrumentalists will perform at our Christmas PTA event being held on Thursday 20 December. But that's not all that will be happening that night. Microphones at the ready! Who's up for a lip sync battle? Families, group of friends and groups of children. Everyone is more than welcome to register to take part. All you need is that perfect, favourite song to lip sync to and let the battle commence. Details of how to register your group will be available after the Halloween holidays.
2019 is just around the corner. In the pipeline there are plans for a movie duvet night, Starbucks quiz night and Tesco bag pack. If you are available to help in any way, at any event you would be more than welcome and your help and support greatly appreciated.

You will have noticed some changes to the car park and playground on your return to school.
The PTA have been working with the school Board of Governors to increase speed awareness in the car park, refresh road marking and make provision for bicycle and scooter racks for the safety of everyone.
The first stage of the work is now complete and you will notice new speed signs and new no parking areas .
The second stage will be the installation of bicycle racks and safety... bollards in the coming weeks. This will provide an area for the children to dismount.
The final stage of works to be completed is in the playground.
Road markings are being laid to aid with cycling proficiency and road safety.
The 36 number square is also to be replaced by a 100 square.
It is through your support and generosity that we as a PTA are able to fund such projects for the school.
Many thanks in advance for your continued support .

We've had a lovely last minute donation of approximately 50 bigger chickens to sell tomorrow! These will be sold at £1.50. Smaller chicks still on sale for only £1. We are so lucky to have had so many knitters helping us.
