A successful night!

InfoPosted by The PTA Tue, November 14, 2017 09:53:22

A massive thank you to everyone who supported us on Saturday night, either by attending or buying raffles or donating fabulous prizes .
We hope you had a brilliant night and your feet have forgiven you for dusting off those disco shoes.
To date , inclusive of the incredible amount Aimee raised, our total is sitting at £1,261!!
Thank you so much.
A defibrillator for the school has now been ordered.
All money raised by the PTA goes directly to the school to benefit our children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Without your continued support, the PTA would not be the success it has become.

Competition Winners!

InfoPosted by The PTA Tue, October 10, 2017 15:14:04

Thank you for all the amazing entries for our logo competition.

We have such talented kids at school.

The decision in the end was extremely difficult and we narrowed it down to our two favourites.

Congratulations to Rebecca Lyle P4 and Dan McGrattan P7!!

A representative from the PTA will make arrangements with Mrs Clarke and Mrs Cranston to get your prize to you both!

We loved different elements from both designs and have incorporated these elements into our new logo - to be revealed very soon! We hope you like it as much as we do.

Life saving equipment.

Life saving equipment for school.

Defibrillator.

Nearly one year on and our PTA is going from strength to strength.

Your support and generosity has been amazing – thank you.

Hopefully by now you will have seen the posters and heard the chat about our disco in Rococo on the 11th November.

The more the merrier so please buy tickets and spread the word…

With the proceeds from scary hair and non uniform day at the end of October and disco the PTA would like to purchase a defibrillator for the school.

This piece of life saving equipment is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest.

An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses and treats life threatening cardiac arrhythmias through the application of electrical therapy, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.
Immediate defibrillation can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone of any age at anytime.

The wellbeing of everyone using or visiting the school is of paramount importance to the teaching staff, Board of Governors and PTA and we hope you will support and enjoy this very worth while event.
