In World Around Us the children replicated an eruption by using baking soda and vinegar. The children all enjoyed the topic of volcanoes and are excited about our new topic space.

P5 had a visit from the Fire Brigade. They told us all about things that can cause fires and reminded us to have an escape plan. The children really enjoyed learning about what to do if a fire starts. Lots of pupils admitted they did not test their smoke alarms so start testing them once a week!
