A massive well done to all of the children in P1 and P2 who took part in the Christmas show 'Lights, Camels, Action'. I'm sure that everyone who attended will agree that the children were all marvellous! We hope that you all enjoyed it!

On Thursday 6th April, P1/2 visited TESCO. We have been studying the topic 'fruit and vegetables' and wanted to have a look at their fruit and vegetable department. We were also lucky enough to have a guided tour around the dairy, cheese counter, fish counter and bakery departments.
After this, we got to visit behind the scenes where we don't usually go when out on a shopping trip. We saw where the deliveries came in and we were able to see the organisation that goes in to the 'Dot.com' department. However, I think our favourite part of visiting the warehouse was getting to go inside the huge freezer. It was -14*. Some of the children were almost blue in seconds.
I think there was a mixture of shock and laughter!
We then went upfront to try out the checkouts. We all had a turn at scanning some items. We were very lucky to have Joanne with us to show us the ropes.
To finish off, we enjoyed some juice and biscuits in the staff canteen. Before heading back to school on the bus, we were given a bottle of water, an apple, a banana and an orange. We all had a great time. Thank you TESCO!

On Wednesday 14th September, our class acted out the story of Adam and Eve for the P1,2,3 children in assembly. We had lots of very important roles, including God, Adam, Eve, the animals, the delicious fruits and even the cunning snake. We enjoyed re-telling the story for the other children.
