Please try to log your child onto Mathletics tonight to aim for a certificate if you haven't done so already this week. You need to get 1000 points to get one, some of you are very close!
If it is the first certificate of that colour, it will be presented in assembly tomorrow!
I have sent home some passwords that have gotten lost, if you need yours, please let me know!

Homework folders have been sent home today, homework is the same as before the holidays:
- reading- fill in reading diary
- spellings copied each night into blue book (remember Thursday night all all week's spellings at the back of the book).
- number facts- these need practised every night for quick recall. Practise them out of order also.
- continue to practise on Mathletics
Number facts and spellings are testing on a Friday.

Our new topic this term is 'Birds and Migration'. If any parents know a lot about this topic, please contact me. We would love to have a class visitor!
In literacy we are continuing to look at sentence work, phonics, capital letters, full stops and alphabetical order.
In Numeracy we will be recapping our number facts, money, weight (heavier/lighter), 2D and 3D shape and patterns. Phew! That sounds like a lot doesn't it?!

Another two girls received their prize today for 10 ticks on their reward charts! Well done Sarah and Sophia!!
We welcomed Damian back today for football. We worked hard on different types of balance and movements. Our star players this week were Ethan and Hannah N, well done!
