P7 students were given an unexpected free gift today - an ECO pencil made of recycled denim. Lily's dad kindly donated them from his work - they were very gratefully received especially after the rigours of the weekly P7 spellings and mental maths tests! Pictured below are Katie, Sarah, Katie and Lily with their pencils - many thanks to Lily's dad for thinking of us all and helping to remind us of the ECO message of reduce, reuse recycle.

P7 recently completed their swimming sessions with Lesley Coulter at Antrim Forum. The final weeks saw distance awards being completed. The four pupils who swam the furthest continuous distance are pictured below. They all demonstrated determination, stamina and good technique across all three strokes. In forty minutes Nia swam 700m (28 lengths), Louise managed 800m (32 lengths) and both Paul and Keping completed 1,000m (40 lengths.) Well done to our super swimmers!

Congratulations P7! Here is our class certificate to prove that P7 had the highest monthly attendance out of all the classes in Round Tower IPS. I have also noticed another important fact in the last few weeks - everyone is making a real effort to arrive on time . Let's see if we can keep it up! Thank you Mrs Clarke for our treats!
