With Damian today we were practising our dodging skills. We had gate keepers, we had to try and get through the gates without getting caught! It was quite tricky!
Our players of the week were Eva and Joshua for showing good movement skills, well done!

Today in football practice, we did lots more dribbling. We even got to play a quick game, the 'Seaweed a Monster Game.' The aim of the game is to dribble past the monster without losing your ball. If you are caught, you sit in the spot on top of your ball- you are now seaweed! If someone gets too close to seaweed, it will catch your ball! We really enjoyed this game and it really helped with our dribbling skills.
Our star players this week are Alex and Dylan for being champions of our game, well done boys! Hayley was also a star player for being a great catching monster, well done!

In P2 today we were using our hand span to measure items within the classroom. We noticed that our hand were all different sizes, especially Mrs Kennedy's hand. This made some of our answers different than our partner. We measured things like the table, pencil case, books, even each other. We all worked really hard!

With Damian on Thursday we got to go outside and enjoy the sunshine! Lots of children had forgot everything that we had learnt so far this year- we were kicking the ball too hard, going outside the cones, chatting lots and not looking where we were going. Oh dear!
It didn't take long for us to remember all our rules again, this made our dribbling much better!
Damian then put out some orange cones. We had to dribble towards a free cone, when we get there we had to do four toe taps before moving on.
We had a brave girl in our class today, Darcie fell and bumped herself and instead of complaining, she got straight back up and started dribbling again. Super Darcie!
Our star player was Darcie. Well done!
