Science workshops

ActivitiesPosted by Mrs McIlwrath Tue, March 13, 2018 08:44PM
We used weights to pull the string of a party popper, it made us jump when it exploded. We talked about the forces that we used. We made toothpaste. It wasn't very nice!
Primary 6 and 7 children went to Stormont on Monday to take part in science challenges. Three other schools were there and the children worked together in small groups to listen and take part in scientific experiments. They had great fun and all children learnt something new.

First confession

EventsPosted by J Murray Mon, March 12, 2018 06:27PM
Congratulations to the twelve pupils who received the sacrament of First Confession on Wed 7th March. The pupils celebrated the sacrament with pupils from St Joseph's , Templepatrick ,Six Mile Integrated and Antrim Primary School.

The pupils worked very hard learning their prayers and songs for their special day. They also enjoyed learning about God's love and forgiveness. They are now more aware of how special they all are and how much God loves us. Many thanks to all the parents who supported their child through this very special sacrament. Well done boys and girls!

Confirmation 2018

EventsPosted by Mrs McStay Thu, March 01, 2018 02:54PM

Congratulations to our 10 Primary 7 pupils who made the Sacrament of Confirmation on Monday 26th February at St. Joseph's Church, Antrim. The children were confirmed by Bishop Farquhar. It was a beautiful service and the children involved were a real credit to our school. They sang their hearts out and they carried out their different roles perfectly. Thank you to all of the children, parents and sponsors for their help and enthusiasm on the big day!

Science and technology

ActivitiesPosted by Mrs McIlwrath Fri, February 23, 2018 06:30PM
What clever children we have in KS2! The children were encouraged to think of different ways to show what they have learnt in science. They planned and designed various posters and experiments and presented them to the class. There was evidence of good thinking skills, planning and fun. Well done everyone.
